We are a team of fun, passionate & everyday individuals, often referred to as customer service activists, because we are constantly on the lookout for innovative practices that celebrate and enhance the experience of the customer.
Everything we do at POTMAC is motivated by two key things; first is the influence of Auntie Mo and the second is our passion to contribute to improved customer experience management.
Starting Out
In the beginning, before POTMAC became a reality, there was Auntie Molly, fondly known as Auntie Mo. She embodied the spirit of a true service champion, inspiring us with her kindness and unwavering belief in the power of goodness. Auntie Mo offered us her garage as our first office, where we started with nothing but passion and a dream to enhance customer experience management. We used to call ourselves ‘customer service activists,’ a title we still hold dear.
Celebrating Customer Experience Management
Auntie Mo became our patron, on the condition that we met with her every weekend. Those meetings, filled with coffee and hot chocolate, were where she celebrated acts of service for others, emphasizing that the truest measure of one’s worth was their service to others. She believed in creating a world filled with happiness through empathy and kindness.
Losing Auntie Mo
Auntie Mo, a dedicated kindergarten teacher, always went the extra mile because she believed everyone needed an extra dose of kindness, even when they might not deserve it. Though she left us years ago, her inspiring vision remains. Her legacy reminds us that one person’s life can touch many through honest service—doing things with tenderness, generosity, patience, and love.
Our Commitment
In her honor, we continue the legacy of Auntie Mo by not only celebrating acts of service but also by providing career mentoring training. She believed that just as acts of kindness could change the world, nurturing and guiding individuals in their careers could make a profound impact. Today, career mentoring is an integral part of our mission.
To this day, we gather for our weekend meetings, celebrating acts of service and empowering individuals through career mentoring training. We strive to remain true to our commitment. The circle in our logo pays tribute to Auntie Mo, representing the circle where we used to gather to celebrate acts of service, kindness, and career growth. She was called Auntie Mo because she always strived to give ‘More’ of herself.”
